This is a message to adults who think that The 39 Clues is just for kids:
Recently, I’ve noticed that most of the people who like The 39 Clues are kids.
Of course, this is nothing surprising; it’s meant to be a kids game. However, I believe that adults are not as well represented as they should be.
Do you like a Good Mystery?
If you like action/adventure than you love mysteries. What keeps the story going in this particular genre is that we want to solve the story, or the mystery. I’m sure if you like mysteries, you know. Well, if you do, then The 39 Clues is perfect for you.
What it is basically a big mystery. In fact, there are probably more mysteries in this series than any other in history!
Do you like to know what you’re Children are Talking about?
Personally, I know so much that my parents couldn’t care less whether they knew all of the things that I do. However, I know a lot of parents like to stay on the same level as their kids (good luck!), and if your child has read these books, then if you want to improve your bond with them, you’ve got to start reading. There will be a ton to talk about.
Why do we Think that Adults Don’t like this kind of Stuff?
If you are interested in action/adventure, then I would be very surprised if you do not like it for kids. The kids action/adventure books usually are (of course) not as adult, but they are written about kids. Naturally, kids will want to read about themselves, but there always adults in these stories, too. Do you ever get bored of reading about only adults? Action/adventure for kids is the same thing as for adults, except for the fact that there are kids in the kids books and adults in the adults books–in my opinion, kids do much more exciting things!
A lot of adults would probably be intrigued by the storyline, but for some reason feel that they shouldn’t be doing it because it’s something for kids. Yes, you’re not able to win any money, but do ever get money for reading the books you read? Probably not. The game online is so vast, so exciting, so interesting, so free (money wise!), that it perfect sense to at least try it. Adults feel that they aren’t allowed to do kid activities. In my opinion, that makes no sense whatsoever. We do live in a free country, after all, don’t we?
As I said before, this series basically is action/adventure. So read about the storyline and then pick up book one here (not an affiliate link)! When you’re done reading all of the books, subscribe to my feed or e-mail me at johnstondaniel4@gmail.com for daily e-mail updates!
