Why Should You Guest Post?
Main Page: Guest Post
With my guest post and guest post guidelines pages, it brings the question; why would you want to guest post?
On the surface, it looks foolish; essentially, you’re writing content for my site. Well, let me show you the benefit’s:
Bloggers/Webmasters
- Gain back-links to your site; one at the beginning, one at the end, and possibly links inside the post pointing to articles you’ve written on your blog related to the topic
- Attract new readers. Many of the people who visit your post will click the link to your site to get more from you.
- Build profile. Even if the readers don’t visit, if you guest post enough, eventually, who you will start to build a brand and people will know you.
- Get your site tweeted from my Twitter account (700+ followers)
Non-Bloggers
For non-bloggers, the incentives won’t be as much; the main point of a guest post is to get readers to read your own blog or website.
However, I still believe it’s worthwhile to guest post if you don’t have a blog.
First of all, it’s always cool to write a post on a blog that gets a relatively high amount of traffic (sometimes upwards of 450 unique visits a day), and get feedback from other people.
Also, if you consistently produce strong content, we may strike a deal to work as partners on the blog.
Guest posting can be very fruitful and can be a great way to build a relationship between two like-minded intellectuals, a great way to build your blog and your brand, and guest posting can be really fun; especially if you’re writing about a topic you care about!
Read the guest posting guidelines for guidelines on writing a guest post for this blog.
